The Central Crime Branch of Bengaluru, which is investigating a drug abuse case with Kannada film actors in Karnataka, today raided the grand bungalow of Aditya Alva, son of former minister and late Jeevanraj Alva.

According to the report of the news agency Press Trust of India, Aditya Alva, who is an accused in the case, has been missing ever since CCB agents initiated action against the drug in Bengaluru.

Police sources told news agency PTI that so far cases have been registered against 15 people and nine have been arrested.

In a statement, the CCB said, “obtained a search warrant and the searches conducted at Aditya Alva’s house near Hebbal were called ‘House of Life’.”

The police team raided the house with a swimming pool right next to Hebbal lake and searched the premises.

The bungalow is spread over four acres and is allegedly used by Aditya Alva to organize parties, Press Trust of India reported.

Those arrested in the case include film actors Ragini Dwivedi, Sanjana Galrani, party organizer Viren Khanna, realtor Rahul and an RTO clerk BK Ravi Shankar.

CCB took up the case after the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested three men, including a woman, with a huge cache of synthetic drugs, who were allegedly supplying them to Kannada film actors and actresses.
