“Yesterday I was able to breathe throughout my day,” Aleksey Navalny said.

Moscow:

Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny said he did not breathe in his first public remarks after consuming poison in Siberia on Tuesday last month.

“Namaste, this is Navalni,” he said in a post on Instagram, appearing with his family at a Berlin hospital where he was sent for treatment after falling ill.

“Yesterday I was able to breathe throughout my day,” he said in his first social media post that he was poisoned by being a Novichok nerve agent in Germany.
